Happy Earth Day 2022
Tomorrow is Earth Day Watershed Explorers. How will you celebrate? Here in Rhode Island, the weather is going to be beautiful. As I always say, "The best way to celebrate the Earth is to get outside and enjoy nature!" You don't have to go far. Playing outside in your yard connects you with Earth's gifts. You can hear birds chirping, frogs peeping, and insects buzzing. You can watch trees and flowers swaying in the breeze, and feel the sun's warmth. While you are outside, offer thanks to the planet.
If you want to get creative, check out this graphic from a book entitled, Make This Book Wild by Jo Schofield and Fiona Danks and be inspired to create your own Earth Day poster.
If you create a poster for the Earth, or do something special for Earth Day and take a picture, share it with Mrs. Morissette and she will let you pick a prize the next time you meet!
Happy Earth Day Watershed Explorers! For this special occasion, I remind you of my favorite quotation from Dr. Jane, "You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make." Go out tomorrow and share your kindness with the Earth and all of its creatures.
Much love my Earth Saving Explorers!!
