Share Your Gifts

Good Morning Watershed Explorers,

As many of you know, one of my favorite people on this planet is Dr. Jane Goodall. She is not only an amazing scientist and researcher, but more importantly she is an outstanding person. Dr. Goodall's 86th birthday is quickly approaching and I will reserve her birthday for a post devoted all to her, but I wanted to talk about her briefly today. Dr. Goodall has inspired a great deal of my work and last night she sent a special message to all of her Jane Goodall Institute members. This message included so much hope and positivity, which is why I absolutely love Dr. Goodall. There is always room for more hope.

I want to pass these positive vibes on to all of you. I want you all to remember to share your beautiful gifts with this world. Each and every one of you has a spark, a little light inside of you that you can share with others. The more you pass on your light, the stronger that light becomes, and soon we have lit up the world. Let's light up the world!

Each day, find something positive to smile about and share that with as many as you can. Since we cannot be together, you will have to send most of these thoughts digitally, but send them. We can all benefit from hearing a positive message or story. I know many of you have been working on some amazing projects this year and I would love to share what you are doing with our whole Watershed Explorer community, so please pass this information along.

I received a great message and picture yesterday of my friend Kassidy at St. Cecilia's. She has been visiting Slater Park with her family and has been cleaning up around the pond. Kassidy, you are a true pond hero. All the creatures at Slater Park will be so much safer thanks to your hard work. Thank you for sharing that light I described earlier. Your picture made me smile so big, I am so proud of you! Keep up the amazing work young scientist!

I can't wait to hear from more of you. I am unbelievably proud of what you are all doing and I can't thank you enough for being the light we need in this world.

It's a beautiful day today, enjoy!

Much Love,

Mrs. Morissette
