These challenges are available to help students expand their explorer knowledge. They are CHALLENGES and DO NOT need to be completed. However, for each completed challenge that includes all the information asked for, students will receive a special prize.
*Click on the PDF to get a copy of the scavenger hunt questions. You can either print this out and hand it in to Mrs. Morissette during one of her visits, or you can write the answers in an email to her! NOTE: If you email the answers, be sure to include your full name and your teacher's name.
*Click on the link and complete the water calculator with the help of an adult in your house. Once you complete the calculator, it will tell you how many gallons of water you personally use, how much your household uses together and how much the average is for the United States. Please record all three numbers and hand them in to Mrs. Morissette for a prize!
*Create your own nature critter. Use the PDF as a guide and create your own cool critter using natural objects. You can either take a picture of your critter out in nature, or arrange it more permanently on a piece of paper and bring it in to show Mrs. Morissette and the class.
